Women's Self Defense

In response to the recent rape, and murder of both Taylor Beil and Kate Robertson, we are starting the first ever Women’s Self Defense Network: An organization dedicated to educating women about the dangers of our society. Through awareness, prevention and training we will save lives. Crimes against women are at an all time high, and it’s getting worse. Chesterfield County’s crime is going way up, not way down. This is a very real problem.

The U.S. Department of Justice reports that a woman is raped every 2 minutes. That’s 60 women raped in a two hour period. What’s worse than that??? Only 26% of all rapes are reported. That’s 74% that are not reported. It is estimated that 1 out of 3 women have experienced some sort of sexual attack. If you listen to the news you are already painfully aware that those attacks are getting too close to home. Just recently a jogger was attacked in Chesterfield and a 15-year-old girl was taken from her bus stop and raped in a nearby trailer. These attacks were during the day.

These attacks must stop. Knowing how to break a simple wrist grab can stop you from being pulled into a van, or an alley, or a trailer. The Police react to crime after it happens. Well, that’s too late. By then you may have already been attacked or maybe murdered. You are up against men who are stronger and faster. They have the element of surprise on there side, giving you maybe five seconds to react. That is not a long time. We got to get mean ladies. Real mean. Don’t wish you would have been meaner lying on your back. We must act before the attack. It’s up to us to stop the violence. If you were walking downtown and you looked in an alley and saw a women being attacked. Would you do something, or would you do nothing? If your answer was, you would do something, then, do something now. Before, you’re the one in the alley. You will spend good money to protect your car with an alarm. You will spend good money to protect yourself and your family from sickness with medical insurance. You will spend good money to protect your family in the event of your death with life insurance. Get some training to protect you and your family while you’re still alive. We think you’re worth it.

Protect your life for FREE. Get a group of friends together or just come by yourself. Make a difference in someone’s life. The life you’re saving may be your own. With awareness, prevention and training we CAN make ourselves less of a target and more of a force to be reckoned with. ACT BEFORE THE ATTACK!
